Meet Kimberly
Born and raised in Asheville, NC, I’m a mother of three with a deep appreciation for what the postpartum season truly demands. I began my work as a doula thinking I would focus on birth support — but quickly realized that the real, ongoing need begins once families are home. That’s where I found my calling in overnight postpartum care.

Your nights should feel peaceful, not overwhelming. Golden Hour Doula provides intentional, one-on-one overnight postpartum support designed to meet you right where you are. As a solo doula, I offer personalized, consistent care — so you always know who will be in your home and what to expect.
I'm Dedicated to Offering:

KNOWLEDGE

SUPPORT

ENCOURAGEMENT
I OFFER INCLUSIVE CARE TO ALL FAMILIES, NO MATTER YOUR STRUCTURE, IDENTITY, OR PATH TO PARENTHOOD.

Knowledge
The early postpartum period is full of unknowns — especially in the quiet hours of the night. I bring gentle, informed guidance rooted in current evidence and practical experience, helping you feel confident in each new step. Whether it’s feeding questions at 3 a.m., or soothing techniques, you’ll rest easier knowing your doula is prepared with knowledge tailored to your needs.
Support
Overnight care isn’t just about sleep — it’s about having someone you trust beside you during one of the most vulnerable transitions of your life. I offer calm, non-judgmental support through every nighttime challenge, from feeding and pumping to newborn fussiness and postpartum anxiety. My presence allows you to rest and heal, knowing your baby is in capable, compassionate hands.

Encouragement
In the stillness of night, doubt can feel louder — but you are doing better than you think. With every shift, I offer more than care: I offer encouragement. Gentle reassurance, emotional validation, and reminders that you are strong, capable, and doing beautifully. You don’t have to power through the night alone. I’ll help you feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

What Sets us Apart
This is not shift work — it’s sacred work.
Whether you're recovering from birth, navigating feeding routines, or simply craving a few uninterrupted hours of sleep, I bring a calm, nurturing presence to help you feel more rested, grounded, and supported.
Golden Hour is built on trust, gentle care, and a deep respect for your unique parenting path.
